Who are we?
Founded in 1922, we are Northeastern University’s longest-running student organization! Originally just an amateur radio club, we're now so much more. From electronics education through outreach and workshops, to amazing projects and speakers, plus free licensing exams, we are Northeastern University's premier electronics experimentation club. Learn more about our history!
Weekly Meetings
We meet every Thursday at 7 PM in our lab space in Hayden Hall, Room 503 (Northeastern’s Boston campus). Meetings are open to all, with no prior experience needed, and include free pizza plus engaging talks from students, professors, alumni, and guest speakers!
Ham Exams
Want to become a licensed amateur radio operator? We host free Amateur Radio (“Ham”) licensing exams multiple times a month, administered by accredited volunteer examiners.
Workshops
Every Monday during the semester at 7:10 PM in Forsyth Building, Room 236, we host hands-on technical workshops covering electronics, soldering, amateur radio, and more.
Our Fall 2025 schedule is posted. See the page below for details, plus archives of past sessions and schedules.
Lab Space
We maintain a world-class electronics makerspace and ham radio operating station in the penthouse of Hayden Hall. Visit us during a weekly meeting to explore the space and learn about our membership for unlimited lab access.
